Do you go live in a Facebook Group regularly?

If so, there are a couple of different ways you can repurpose your Facebook lives. In fact, not only can you repurpose them, but you can turn them into evergreen content. Evergreen = no expiration date.

Spoiler alert! Today, your big takeaway is to realize that you can always repurpose your content. Check out my example:

Cue jaw-drop. 😱 As you can see from this graphic, you can repurpose your Facebook Lives into evergreen content for Pinterest, YouTube, and blog posts. You can even use them for emails to your list! Let’s dive a little deeper.

What Kind of Content Should You Repurpose?

First up, emails and blog posts. I’ve found the best way to do this is to use Otter.ai. This handy tool will transcribe your video for you. Then you can edit the transcription into the email or blog post you want to publish.

Next up, YouTube. This one is pretty self-explanatory. But, I’d like to point out just how valuable it is to repurpose your Facebook lives to YouTube. Doing so is an example of when the platform matters

Repurposing Content Across Channels

Platforms like Facebook are simply social media outlets. What you post has a minimal shelf life. But YouTube is a search engine, which means you can use keywords to help the right people find you. You can also link to your website so they can see more of your content. And guess what- when they click through that link (to your website), it improves your Google rankings.

Bonus – Once the visitor visits your site, it’s so easy for them to subscribe to your email list.

The Best Channel for Evergreen Content

Last but certainly not least is my favorite, Pinterest. Contrary to popular belief, Pinterest isn’t another social media platform for foodies, bloggers, and DIYers. LikeYouTube mentioned above, it’s a search engine, and it ranks at #3 (Google and YouTube are #1 and #2, respectively).

So how do you repurpose your Facebook video on Pinterest? It’s so simple- you publish your video on a page of your website (or YouTube for a double SEO whammy! 🤓). Then you create a pin on Pinterest. And don’t forget to link it to your website and include keywords so people can find it! The results are BEAUTIFUL!
